Long Island NY native, Bexx, has been dominating the marketing world since 2016. At the ripe age of 22 after graduating college during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Bexx quickly noticed the lack of opportunities for recent graduates as the world shut down. Frustrated and determined to find a way to be able to financially support herself she took what she knew from doing affiliate marketing for years prior and set off to teach herself E-Commerce launching a couple of successful brands online through teaching herself web design, social media marketing and influencer management. Even though highly successful, she realized that her passion did not lie in E-Commerce and looked for a better way to utilize her highly creative skills. With the social media marketing world just starting to boom in 2020 as businesses scrambled to find a way to connect with their customers, Bexx landed a remote freelance gig with a digital marketing startup. She fell in love with creating content and interacting with people online to form a community so much that she decided to set off on her own and find her own clients to help.
She founded Savvy Squirrel Social fulfilling her childhood dream of becoming a business owner all during her battle with a diagnosis of Crohn’s Colitis. Determined to not let her autoimmune disease or ADHD get in the way of her success, she worked with what she was dealt and changed the way she ran the company to suite her needs. Now with nearly 10 years under her belt, she has been featured in newspapers, podcasts and has helped close to 100 businesses increase their brand awareness, achieve a professional image online, generate millions of views, build a community and drive traffic in order to increase their revenue. Since founding Savvy Squirrel Social, she has also published a book (The One Percent Journal on Amazon), became the host of her very own podcast (The Social Squirrel Show) and has launched a second marketing company (Beans and Brew Media).
Bexx now calls Florida home and when she is not busy working, she is spending time in the sunshine, traveling, making memories with friends, reading, staying active and checking out local coffee shops. Her biggest piece of advice to anyone looking to start a business or is currently in business is to invest in yourself, take risks and do the thing you are afraid to do because even if you fail at least you tried. Madison- Content creator & Engagement specialist
Originally from the USA, Madison joined the Savvy Squirrel Squad from her home in Germany in the fall of 2023. She was one of our very first hires here at Savvy Squirrel Social and we have loved watching her grow with us. Known in the freelance world as “Marketing by Madison” she has helped numerous companies and coaches get clear on their brands image and messaging by creating scroll stopping content and fostering relationships within their online communities. As a valued team member here at Savvy Squirrel Social, she assists with content creation and is an absolute engagement rockstar.
When she is not working, Madison enjoys country hopping, interior decorating and growing her dogs social media presence, which she says “even though I am a SMM my dog has a bigger presence on social media than I do.” (you can follow her dogs journey @dinathedawg).
lesley- outreach & client success manager
From TikTok star to Savvy Squirrel Social team member, Lesley joined our Savvy Squirrel Sales Squad in November of 2024. Originally from Long Island NY just like Bexx, she also found her way to the sunny state of Florida. Lesley has a business communications degree and plays a vital role in making sure all of our potential clients feel supported and have their questions answered throughout our process. She is also 1 of 5 children, speaks Spanish and is from the Dominican Republic!
When she is not working you can catch her working on her fitness at the gym, spending time with friends/family and cuddling with her puppy! We are so grateful to have her a part of our team!

Moo shoo- our manatee
Moo Shoo was adopted by Savvy Squirrel Social in 2024 through the Save The Mantatee Club in Florida. She is a female manatee that resides in Blue Spring State Park. First identified in 2010, she enjoys nudging canoes and has had 4 calves. Manatees are recognized and identified by the scarring on their backs and Moo Shoo unfortunately has many from boat hits. It is because of these marks that researchers are able to distinguish the manatees at the Florida Springs during the winter months and Moo Shoo has been labeled as one that they have found to return to Blue Springs State Park every winter.
